The shooting for this OOTD literally epitomised the look I was trying to go for, in the sense that the sun was fully out but it was still raining. I tried to bring a bit of autumn flavour into this outfit with the darker tones and the plum red on my lips and nails. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off but it wasn’t half bad and the nail varnish is growing on me. The colour is so rich I literally feel like a diva wearing it lool.Anyway, This week I wanted to bring you the ‘wide leg pant’. I am crazy about these trousers, I just feel they are so elegant and stylish. I’ve dressed them up a little with the heels but you could wear these with almost anything depending on the look you’re going for.
The trousers are old zara, I’m not sure how old, but I bought them on the boot sale app called schpock for about £20 cheaper than the RRP and they were brand new with labels. I’m telling you, every once in a while visit a couple of boot sale apps or even charity shops because you will definately find some gems that you may have missed out on in the shops – and of course at a bargain price.
I teamed my trouser up today with a cropped vest top and leather jacket from topshop, but I usually wear it with a long vest top or a cropped shirt to give the trouser different dimensions.
That all said, I have had to get these repaired at the dry cleaners because the seam slippage on this is terrible. If you buy a pair of trousers with a mixed material like this straight from the store, I would suggest keeping the receipt for a while just in case the fabric slips – and then you can get your money back. It’s quite unacceptable to be honest but hey – that’s high street for you.
Although you may not be able to get your hands on these, wide leg pants are definately back in season and I’ve seen a grey pair selling in zara that I will link below, that I’m also hoping to purchase.
As autumn begins to settle in on us properly I will begin to do more casual style clothes – it’s not everyday heels, I have to remind myself lool
Happy Friday and have a great weekend
